Walt Disney Studios has just announced that Pluto is no longer considered a star!
Explained a spokesperson for the company: "When was he last in a money making picture? You can only carry these characters so long. In the interests of fiscal responsibility, we have had to let Pluto go."
The spokesperson went on to say that there is no truth to the rumor that Pluto was given the boot because of his behavior on a recent Oprah Winfrey show where he was seen bouncing up and down on the couch.
