Compassionate Curmudgeon

The best state is a state that does not cause it's members to support the caretaking of a rabid dog that may last as much as 70 years or more at the tax payers expense. It would also not burden it's peaceable members with the threat that future bleeding hearts that did away with the death penalty will one day deem a life sentence unjust and release the rabid dog back into the midst of the peaceable society so that he may once again threaten that peace.

Rabid dogs have rights, too!
